‘Damchiya’ is what was an Indian bride’s dresser used in earlier times. Most commonly used in Indian states of Rajasthan and Gujarat, these furniture pieces were used as hope chests to store a bride’s dowry and after the wedding, these were used for storing clothes and other valuables.
These pieces are so extremely hard to find now. This is truly an investment piece to treasure.
